All 6 of my Dachsies throughtout the years have loved raw veggies ... carrots, green peppers, potatoes, you name it, they'd eat it! lol They like raw fruit, too.

We had a wiener pup named Alice..she was a PEST..LOL..everytime we come home the whole house wouod been trashed..she loved the toilet paper to unroll it and drag it all through the house..dump the trash and look all innocent...

Thanks for the comments on Heidi's picture that Christine so nicely posted for me. Heidi is our 4th mini dachshund thru the years and one of the most devilish of the bunch. We have had both long and short haired ones but have never had a wire haired. They sure are fun dogs.

Here's a link to my "pack", both past and present. I give up on Photo bucket for now. Heidi, Ingrid, Sadie, and Elsa were all devilish as puppies, but straightened out by 3 or 4 years old. Hugo and Greta were rescues, Hugo at 8 and Greta at 16, so don't know how they were as puppes. All six of these guys were and are smart as whips, and playful and loving.

Sheri, I loved seeing your dachshunds. Your Heidi looked very similar to our Heidi now. There is just something special about dachshunds and I love them to pieces. Very smart little dogs.
