Well it's been a week since Pola's eye surgery and what a mess. Her whole face was nothing but blood and swelling.

Edges of pink around her eyes hanging out. I could barely look at the poor baby, just hug her but don't look. Took her in for a check and to remove the stitches. They may have to do the right eye over again.

She still has lashes sticking in her right eye. I thought this would be easy and thought they only remove some lashes. I guess they actually cut the eye lids then pull the skin down in the proper position.

I hate to put her through it again.

Hope your baby gets better fast, poor little thing. Entropian surgery is tricky. I used to work for a Vet many years ago, and he hated doing those surgeries.

Hey Joyce! How's Pola's eye now? Have you had the second surgery on it yet? Have you thought about getting a different Vet to do it this time?
