Oh that sounds like a lot of snow! Good luck and don't over due it.

Our nice 10 inches of snow has been shrinking because of rain and sleet and of course our warm weather. Unbelievable 40's. Not a healthy temp for the animals though as it is foggy and damp.

Wow. Nice pictures Izzy!  Good thing you have a decent sized snow plow.
It's over 70 degrees here today.  Very very odd.  Cloudy and windy and hot.

We had a wonderful Christmas and all three horses got to go on a walk together twice since I had help for each horse.  Moriah and Shiloh could hardly believe it!  (Not that they need extra food - they are tubby!)

Looking forward to next week and some time to play with horses and catch up on pasture stuff like emptying a manure box to make room for more.  Yippee!   Teaching Aslan to kick a ball and getting ready for the Parelli Celebration at end of January.  We applied to perform online demo and won't know if we get picked until at least Jan. 10th so we're practicing as if we are going.  We're doing alot of ground driving and even can do a half pass with me behind him.  Pretty much fun.

Whoa Izzy you guys really got snow dumped on your place, the trees are beautiful covered with the white stuff. How is your horses?                     Betty I would have the snow more then the fog and rain when already having the snow on the ground making it slippery.. Not very fond of fog when having to drive any where.
Patty sounds like it was nice weather for you and you horses. Hope you get picked for the Parelli Celebration.

Izzy that picture is awesome! Wow. Yes Pat you are right. Snow anyday over this icy crap.

Patty keeps us updated as that sounds like quite a challenge.

Good to see some of you are still around

lol, yea we got a good one that time. Still don't have as much snow as we have had the past few years.

Hey Patty, that sounds like fun,  I wouldn't mind seeing the demo when you make it..are you using a video camera and uploading it or something?

The horses are good, I'm not sure what they think of all the snow, their trails are getting smaller. They won't walk into the deep stuff, they just follow their little trails..every big dump we get, they decide to abandon another part of the trail.

Yes isn't that true the more the snow the less the horses move around. So when we put down another big round bale we put it as far from the other bale so they have to walk around.

Actually it would be a live performance in a huge arena with thousands of people.  Quite the new experience for both of us.  Pat and Linda Parelli will be there judging.
