All the wrong reasonsI am not sure what is going on..had 3 calls today about minis..One had 4 mares (Big horse mares) looking for ateaser stallion..One wanted to "rent" a few driving horses for her grandchilds bday party..she said she has a vehicle..  and One wanted a show mini for her 2 year old grandson..these pple had a quaterhorse farm..and they all would run together..
Sooo the day is almost over and I sold and rented nada..lol
It seems to me people have all the wrong ideas about minis..think I am going towntown with a few for a walk!!

Yes i had a call just a while ago from a lady that had 2 quarter horses and a mini. 2 Quarter horses didn't like each other so one had a Mini for a pasture pal and she wanted to know if i could sell her a Mini for the other one. I was lucky that i knew of a riding horse that had tendon surgery, can't be riden would need a home with pasture to roam so i sent her that direction. I tired to explain the dangers of a 32 inch Mini and a 16 hand horse but she didn't seem to understand either 
Hmmm rent a Mini?? Never had that question LOL.

Actually she said MINIS..I had a message on the machine..never called her back..guess she has a Party and thinks we come with a bunch she can drive around..lol..on top she is 200 miles away!!

She needs to take the kids to an amusement park. Cheaper and safer and easier and smarter.
And a mini teaser stallion for the big mares?? 
That doesn't even make sense to ME!
Where do these people come from?
The big horse companion I've heard over and over. And that's what started me looking at minis, too -- saw it advertised on several websites.
I remember one site with mini donkeys and they said they were perfect companions for big horses. Some people are out there promoting the idea and that's what keeps it going.

You know a Mini can be a good companion for a saddle horse if they are in a run beside each other. Maybe some of these people are forgetting that is a possiblity. But together is foolish and asking for trouble.
