I had warts of 2 fillies i was gloing to show about 4 years ago. I used the human wart remover. Can't remember the name but it is a liquid that you apply with a dropper. Took about 5 days to get rid of them Do NOT use it if close to an eye though. It takes a few seconds to dry when you put it on.
But Jeffers, and i bet others too, sell a product called Warts Off for equine and cattle.
Icky things aren't they.

I should add that mine had them on their muzzle. Small little ones.
And i am sure you realize that they can become huge and be in the ears too. For that of course you should consult a Vet but i am confident that you know that.

Been forking a huge round bale out of the way today, into a stall. Then I can
corner each one where they can't move behind a gate and treat the warts.
Slow going. Going to take another day to get ready..

Will they go away on their own or can they get worse first? One of mine had a couple when they were young, they spread to a couple more but then fell off went away on their own.

I think that most often they will go away on their own but sometimes they spread to nasty areas too. It is a virus that attacks the younger horses mainly.

So, how did it all go?

Haven't done it yet..Spent yesterday moving more hay out of the way and cleaning the barn.. Now the big center gate can move either way to catch
and crowd the little guys.

I have had them hit my horses a few times, both big horses and minis. One of the best things to do, is pinch off or crush one wart on each horse...and the body will build-up antibodies and rid itself of the rest. Sounds gross, but they don't feel it if you crush just the wart...it will bleed lots though.
