Bell is limping..On One hind leg..she has now for 2 days..when we let her in the paddock in the morning she was fine..afternoon she limped..had the farrier look at her and No abcess..it seems to be in the joint..like she strained it..maybe stepped in a hole or something..what would you do?? Absorbine jr? Wrap it??

Maybe stall rest for a couple of days..

She HATES the stall..only goes in their cause I carry tater in there..she limps in circles..she lays relaxed out in the paddock..so I think she actually gets more rest out there..

If she fusses in the stall i think she would be best left out where she will rest it herself. I did wrap an ankle on my Arabian mare one time when she sprained it but it was obvious she had sprained it. Then of course you have to be careful not to get it too tight and you have to release it every so often. Maybe let nature take it course unless it gets worse.
