Best friendsI took a couple of pics yeaterday. I was looking for Ethan, and I couldn't find him till I went over to where the horses are...and there he was, just laying on the ground, watching the horses eat their supper.
Ethan calles Adie the "horse whisperer" ...he says Adie whispered in Dixie's ear and that's why she's so gentle  Isan't that cute?
Ethan and Coors are getting closer too...
The day before yeaterday, the kids were playing in the corral with Coors and Dixie. They were running around trying to get Coors hyper...next thing you know they were chasing Coors to one end of the corral, then all of them would turn around and Coors would chase them back...they were playing tag
Later, we all went for a family walk ( even my brother) around the property with the horses...climbed a few good hills and went for a run across the old strawberry patch, it was great!
We love them very much, I can't imaging our lives without them

That is terrific that your family enjoys the horses so much and i know the "horse whisperer" is happy about that.

Gosh, that made me cry when I read it. Kids are so cool. PLUS Adie IS a horse whisperer .........

You can bet any part of your anatomy that I do not whispers when:
One of them is standing on my foot.
One of them is standing on its hind legs for the farrier.
One of the tries to kick another and gets me instead.
One of them (a young one) is sharpening its teeth on parts of me.
No I'm no horse whisperer.

Yup, that is when I become the "Horse-Hollerer". the top of my left foot is all bruised now, from where Twister showed his displeasure with his bath last Thursday, getting ready for the show.
