Travel Sunday will continue to be dangerous due to falling snow and blowing snow. Numerous county and secondary roads have been reported as nearly impassable due to drifts of 3 to 5 feet in depth, especially for areas along and east of the Mississippi River. Winds have increased this afternoon, with some gusts nearing 50 mph being reported, and given the snow falling over most of the area, travel is not likely to improve anytime soon, with roads drifting shut quickly after being plowed. Not to mention the poor visibilities in blowing snow, coupled with the falling snow.

That really stinks Betty... hope it smartens up before Christmas..
Here we sit as warm as toast ... well almost.. Christmas is suppose to be
-2C for the high.. Barely freezing..

Have you got family that is going to be trying to get thru that mess.?

That is the best part. We are having Christmas dinner on the 30th so they should all be snug as a rug at their homes during this mess.
