Burning Cd's?Yes puter illiterate I want to put my pics on disc and my question is what kind od cd's? I bought a case of "Kodak CD-R" recordable cd then below that it says data then below that it says 48x 700mb 80mins.
I haven't opened the pkg yet so I can return if need be
Oh...what can I do with these if they are not for pics?

Kodak CD-R recordable disks for photo archivingMy hubby is going to step in here and answer your question, Six. He used to work at Kodak in the Digital Imaging department:
The Kodak disks will work fine for archiving your photos, but they are usually one of the more expensive CD's you can buy. I use the cheapest CD's I can find at my computer store, such as Memorex, Sony, etc - whatever they are having a special on that week. You can normally buy a bulk pack (stack) of 50 or 100 CD's for less than $20.00 - sometimes they end up being free after rebates.

puurrrfect the whole 80mins thing had me worried thought it was maybe just for music or somethin' Lady at the store wasn't to sure either but she thought these would be ok.

Good luck. I put some on a CD-R and i can't see anything LOL. Not the brightest bulb here either when it comes to doing that sort of thing.

If you convert the pics to JPG files you should be able to read them
in any computer or dvd player with cd read capable.
