Chip is doing great. We probably won't put him in with our saddle horses until spring. Mainly because they run about 20 acres and hubby isn't comfortable with him being out there with the deep snow and icy spots. Did i tell you Chip almost got hung up in a big drift the other day? LOL. Too funny. I would put him out there for a few hours everyday but this one is hubbies call to make.
But he is between the Belgians and most of the Minis. He hangs his head over the gate and visits with the Minis. They all stand there and spend time with him. Jewel always waits for him to come over every morning, as he is inside at night. She waits until he finally sticks his head over to greet her, she nips him on the nose and heads on out. He stands perfectly still and just looks at her.  The Belgians hated him at first but enjoy his company now. It was that big moving blue blanket that scared them.
Today the sun is out and his blanket will come off for a while. He loves that and loves being brushed. I would assume the hair won't grow with the blankets left on, right?
Being outside is something new to him i think. He is slowly spending more time outside though. Might get a pic with the blankets off.
