Darn coldCold this morning... Had almost half and inch of ice in the waterer..
Going to have to plug it in tonight.. looks like winter is on its way.. Few
flakes of snow yesterday morning...

 Oh No. Brrrrrr. Just in time for your Thanksgiving Day on Monday.
I got to mention that now while it is on my mind or i may forget.
And here i am sitting with the air conditioner running on October 5! in Minnesota.

Scared me enough to get the electric lines up for the winter.. Heated buckets for three males... the rest can all get to the waterer and I plugged that in today. Got a good supply of rolled oats in too.. Good for a month anyhow.

Got up this morning to go to work and it was -5, yes winter is going soon. This morning the weather man said the white stuff was coming down from Wetaskawin to Red Deer along QE2. BURRR to darn cold already do not what an early winter again.

Yes it is a fact that we have to face soon isn't it. 87 here yesterday and still 72 this morning but the changes are coming for us too. Looking like highs in the 60's for this coming week. No snow yet though. Most of my horses are really gettng ready for winter with some fast hair growth going on.

Yes Betty my mini horses are getting quit the hairy chin/face too. It has been very cold at night except this weekend we have had a great Thank-giving long weekend. a little windy but sunny and warm, got alot of work done around here before winter. Always something to do before before the snow arrives.

Got some good winter coats growing here, too.
Kind of sweaty, though. thankful that it will be highs in the 60s next week.
It was close to 90 yesterday.
