Frost on the pumpkinDusting of light frost this morning. Still going to be in the 60's today. Won't be long and i can complain about the cold.

We have had frost a few times now...And darn, we had wind now too.
Trees are loosing leaves already. Soon all the trees will be bare. Just when
they looked so pretty in all the orange and yellows.

We had ICE..lots of ICE ..in my freezer 
Still Nice around here..too hot yesterday..almost hit 90..much better today..high of 77

LOLOL!!!   Yeah, we had ice, too! (Not.) It's October and almost 90!! Go figure.

We were forecast to have frost last night, but we didn't have any this morning. It only went down to 35*. I gave Lady some hay last night, just in case. This morning it was gone, even though she still has plenty of pasture, so I guess she had a chill come over her. She slept inside, too. I could tell because she had shavings stuck to her left side and some were in her mane and tail. My little Princess ...........

We have had frost a couple times here to  Windy as !%#$ today so will have naked  trees I'm sure. My horses love to eat the leaves though

frostYup, we've had several frosts now, and this morning there was ICE in the outside water buckets! 
It is beautiful though, with all of the vivid reds and oranges of the maple trees. This is my favorite time of year, so I am not complaining...but Oh, do I hate winter!
