Frozen water lines Line to the barn froze 3 days ago. Urrgh. Oh well good excercise carrying water to the barn for the critters. Have to stay on the positive side right. Dreaming of spring and warmer days. Thankful the line that we water the cattle with is fine. Now that would be a tragedy if that froze up.

Oh man..I HATE that..our frostfree froze too..had to put a hairdryer on it..
What goot does a waterheater do if you got NO water..be careful B..
ALMOST spring..50's and 60's after Monday!!

Hope the lines didn't break. That is much worse than carrying water for
a few days. Ours are dug down eight feet...Only had the lines freeze once
so far.. The light bulb down the well burnt out..put heat tape and extra
bulbs down.. Still took about three days or so to thaw out...

WooHoo we have water again. The line finally thawed out. Took long enough.

Long arms and big hands LOL. The past month we have been able to run a garden hose from the outside faucet on the house so that helped. And not being used to having the hydrant in the barn work....hubby left it running for 3 hours yesterday  Sure watered that cow yard. Glad it was him and not me.
