Habits die hardYesterday I went out to feed and noticed that Aslan was holding his tail up. Looked like he was going to unload a pile for me to scoop any second.
Except that no pile came.
So I went and asked him if he was constipated or something.
Turned out he'd been rubbing his rear end on the trees that are now wrapped in chicken wire because they were eating all the bark off of them.
One piece came loose and got stuck in his tail and it must have scratched his back legs all day long. Probably drove him crazy because it felt like someone was constantly chasing him. He must have figured out that it wouldn't touch him if he held his tail up so that was what he was doing!
Sure looked funny.
The funniest part was after I got the stuff untangled. He still kept holding his tail up!! And he was still doing it a little this afternoon too!
I kept pushing it down into relaxed position to tell him it was ok, now, but a few seconds later it was back in that "Poop preparation position!"
