Happy MondayBeautiful morning out there as we got 8 inches of snow overnight! First big snow fall since Oct.18 so we were long overdue. Drifts were half way up the barn doors this morning. Wakes you up fast when cold wet snow falls down inside your jacket collar  Well that is my weather report for the day.

Nice to get the snow but 8 inches at once. Know what you mean about
the wake up call. I have a ledge over the barn door..The door sticks
sometimes and I take a hip to it..down comes the snow and fills my collar.

LOL that is how it happens to me too.
C we had 3 inches of rain 2 weeks before Christmas.....i will take the snow this time of the year. Muddy, muddy mess and horses tore up the pastures and well....you know what i am talking about. Hope that rain stops soon for you guys. I am sure there are areas that would welcome that rain!

We've had freezing rain since Saturday. It finally ended tonight, and now the snow's supposed to start and cover up all the ice. Everything is covered with 2" of ice ...... trees, grass, bushes, phone and electric wires, barn, LADY, everything! Welcome to Western New York!

Oh that is terrible... bet it is pretty thou..If it isn't breaking all the trees down.
