Hey CYou got a German Chocolate Frosting recipe?   Already made the cake. Can't remember frosting .... 
Don't like the recipe where you open the can, then eat out of it

FROSTING FOR GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1 stick butter
1 can condensed milk
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can coconut
Combine ingredients and cook over low heat; stirring constantly until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add chopped pecans and coconut.

German chocolate cake has nothing to do with germany..I ate it the first time ever in the USA..it was "invented" by a man named german
