Higher expectationsI've created three monsters!!
I was just trying to teach my horses to stand nicely for a bath.
Well, it has mushroomed and now they expect a lovely cool shower each afternoon after their dinner of soaked alfalfa! They are so funny - each one prefers it a little different. Aslan likes to get his face all wet, but not his hind end. The belly is nice, too. Shiloh prefers her backside to be soaked and not the face. She is so fat that I can spray her back and it creates a puddle up there!! Moriah likes her chest sprayed gently, but not her sides. When she's had enough, she dashes away like she changed her mind. They all like the hose on "mist" and after it is done, they no longer roll in the dust! They walk over to the hay and munch contendedly and you can almost see them grinning and sighing with delight. What a trio.
Don't tell them, but I think I enjoy the cool shower as much as they do - it's so funny to watch them. Got to find a way to get pictures without getting the camera soaking wet at the same time . . .
