Horses and strawberriesOur strawberries are ripe right now, I fed the horses one and they loved them. Then afterwards I was thinking that they can't be bad for them...or can they? It was only one, I'm thinking it might be like anything else where it's only a treat thing....hmmm 
What do you think?

They're okay for horses to eat. My Fjordie ate every kind of fruit and vegetable imaginable! And the Dachsies used to eat the wild blackberres that come every year. The Chipmunks love to nibble on the strawberry caps I put out after I've made strawberry shortcake.

Our critters all have wild smaller dried strawberries w/the leaves in their bales. We've got quit a patch in our field where we bale, as long as the deer don't eat most of them.
