Keeping TrackHow do you keep track of everything as far as when you gave each one shots, or birth dates extra supplements, etc. I tried keeping track on a spread sheet in computer. Not working. Don't have time to access it everytime. Do they have Calendar Books for just writing everything in?

Weeelllll...each of my horses has a folder that is kept in a file book..we use a clipboard for breeding records..all shots are done same month for EVERYBODY..this way I don't forget..deworming is every other month or when One is sold..u can keep these dates in the animals folder..
Hope that helps some.

I have always kept a "little black book", and EVERYTHING equine related gets written into it. I also keep all my receipts in a folder.

Ok Sounds good Thank you ladies! I guess I am getting it all confused because the goat kids, are all done differently then adults, by age groups time for different treatments at different ages. I want to be able to give a record to new owner of everything when, what & how. I have not had seven kids all at one time before, all three groups of ages.

Yeah...that could keep you on your toes.
We just gave our Fainting buck (Rhett) away today. All I have left is my old doe, Kuka...and that will be the end of my goaties when she passes.

Nope...no more. Kuka must be close to 14 years old now...but still very healthy, so we will hopefully have her for awhile yet.
