Leg barring

My newest filly is a dun. She has to be as she has leg barring on all 4 legs along with that nice dark dorsal. But the leg barring is very noticable.

I know 1 parent has to be a dun right? Well it has to be Emma then. Being pinto her back is mostly white but where the bulls eyes on her butt starts the dorsal strip shows and it runs down into her tail. Where she got it from i don't know unless it is from her dam, Lena. Lena is a bay with a very dark prominet dorsal. And Lena is out of a sorrel pinto and a buckskin dam.

I will have to get the camera out and snap a picture maybe tomorrow, if i can get her to stand still long enough.

The buckskin is prob. a dun or a dunskin... I am pretty sure that my one stud is dunskin now.. produced duns, dunskins and buckskins .. So many duns
have been reg. as buckskins before a choice was given and prob. a lot are still being reg. that way... mine are prob. reg. wrong too.. Don't know what to
call them until next year... They change so much in the first yr. The one thing that I have learned is that a dunskin is usually lighter in color that a true dun color.
