Billy the B!@#$$&*I had to go into the buck pin yesterday in the pouring rain. My one baby buck's dog house came apart and he was crying. Hubby is on his way to Kansas to pick up my new babies, or he usually goes in.
I fed the two bucks down the fence line, so I could sneak in and put the house back together and put dry bedding.
When I got done I turned around and there was Billy right in my face. I said hello and pet him as I headed to the gate, careful not to turn my back to him. He attacked me with his horns. I tried to hold him buy his horns, but couldn't slipping and sliding in the mud. So I finally choked the little B%$$#@ with his collar until I could get to the gate. These little dwarts are strong! I am bruised everywhere but what bothers me most is I broke some nails
I was having trouble deciding if I should let this breeder have Billy or not.
I've made up my mind and it was easy! Did I say I got even with him after I got out, and had a fence between us.

Joyce Joyce Joyce... I can't believe you let a goat that comes up to your knees take a round out of you...

Well he is a Full grown DWARF ya know!! When he stands up to ram me he's about as tall. Bruses are up to my shoulders lol They hurt. These tall boots I bought didn't do me any good.

Joyce when I sold my goats there were over 130 of them..And I was selling goats all along. Saanen goats.. not dwarfs.. and in all the yrs. I raised them I was never attacked by a billy goat.. they probably saw me taking the burdizzo to their sons.. That little #%*^ needs a lesson or two ..A cattle prod would do the trick..

OH shoot I forgot about those! LOL Good cause I was thinking I might be forgetting to feed someone It's not uncommon for them to have quads after the first breeding. The girls are huge. Remember C how big she was when you saw her, double that

and he's the one you bottle fed till he was a year old, right?
|
Joyce
|
Yes ..Patty, I knew you would find it funny!! the little brat! He would still try to climb up in my lap for his bottle and then run over to mount the girls then come back LOL
I didn't have to go out to the barn to feed him his bottle either, I left the gate open and he came to the front door every bottle feeding
He still trys to kiss me through the fence and I pet him. I really don't know why he did that, but he would not stop. Good thing hubby wasn't home, Billy would be dog food. Ha I didn't tell him yet. Bruises are looking better
Yes, I got my butt kicked by a full grown dwarf!! Talk about embarrassing

A person can be upset at the things animals can do .....It's good to see that you can laugh at it after it's all over with ...lol. We used to have a large ram that we borrowed to breed the sheep when we were kids. He was a real mean bugger...it didn't matter if you were giving him a treat or anything, as soon as your back was turned, he was at you fast as lightning! He also had a bad habbit of eating baby chickens!!!

Animals have the weiredest way of getting a good laugh out of people.

Joyce

Well, yes I'm laughing now But embarrassed because everyone keeps pointing out that he's only a little dwarf, not a full size buck. He's stronger then he looks. Or as Paul, my son pointed out. He said it was two dwarfs fighting LOL This dwarf lost
