Drake..He is one strong little bouncy colt..BUT we watched him today and he did not nurse the whoile two hours we where out there..he would nibble a bit and let go..so we milked her out and gave him 60cc in the syringe..we loaded him up and got him to the vet for his IGg..of cause it was fine..gave his tetanus and Mom got a refresh 4 way..
Hubby said the IGg was fior me..not for the colt..  I feel so much better if they hadf One..they go downhill so fast and plasma is sure expensive..

And glad he's ok - prevention usually is cheaper than treatment, I agree.

Little squirt was nursing all the way in the trailer..running kicking and nursing this morning..first day out!
