Seven Baby Chicks!!!!We got seven now. She stopped sitting on them for a little while during the day, was sitting next to dog house but back on them again.
Wonder at some point if I should remove the ones that didn't hatch  before it gets too much warmer ?? s 70's today

Yah Joyce after about a week toss all out that haven't hatched..The hen probably had help laying all those eggs so they will hatch over a period of days. You don't want rotten eggs exploding.. If this slosh when you shake them they are rotten..

OH Ok Adie Thanks guess I'll go shake them all and see if they slosh
If they don't Slosh after I shake them .. The baby chics may have
CHICKY SHAKE SNYDROME

Listen to the eggs before you shake... If you heard peeps or pecking some one is home...  If you don't hear anything but sloshing.. don't shake
to hard.. they could explode from the sulfur build up of rotting egg.
And nothing smell much worse.. makes you really gag..
