So sad to lose one, . Poor Bell. Every time it happens i feel the same, never gets easy. One mare we had was so upset when we tried to take the baby out we left it with her . I watch the moniter as she stood over her all night. By morning as she ate breakfast we took the baby away. By then she accepted it was gone.

I am so sorry! It happens no matter how we try.
I only have a few mares to foal this year. And I get paranoid and wonder just how many of them will actually make it.
