Oh NOMy coffee pot just died. I can not survive without coffee. Better dig through my cupboards and see if i still got that old perculator. Do you love your coffee?

I don't drink coffee. If I did it would be a lot of cream with sugar and a teaspoon of coffee  My husband drinks coffee. He likes the old kind of coffee pot, perk kind you make on the stove. He would forget it and let it boil over on my stove. So I hid that one far away and bought the regular electric kind. He doesn't like the taste of the coffee as well with this new one. Too bad

I don't drink coffee either.. We have to coffee perks. One for coffee for Bob and one for tea. And I don't open my eyes without a couple of cups of good strong tea.

Shoot i must have thrown it out. That is what happens when you clean. Oh well i got some tea around here. Guess i will have to go that route for now. Ohhh it is the green tea Adie.

I'm bad bad bad...I have 2 coffee makers otherwise its a 45min drive to get a new one and that dosen't work so good first thin in the morning..lol
No coffee no  you don't want to talk to me

I drink a vitamin drink in the morning.... tastes like Alkaselzer (sp?)
Then a cup of herb tea .... I know I'm an idiot

You know me....i gotta have coffee so i will doing that in the morning C and thanking you for the sugestion. Guess hubby will go shopping in the morning for a new coffee pot

C is right. You can boil water in a pan or in the microwave, put the coffee in a filter and pour the hot water over them. Same thing will happen ...... nice hot coffee. Hang onto that filter, 'tho', or the thing'll collapse and you'll have grounds in yer coffee mug!   Then add Instant Coffee to your shopping list, and keep it in your pantry for emergencies. Instant is better than none at all!

Did you survive your morning?? I was once out of filters..and it was a coffee emergency..I used a papertowel..thats a chunkie at its worst!!

Yucky paper chunks in the coffee. Yes i made it the way you suggested and it was pretty tasty. But made a trip to town and the new one is brewing a pot as i write. Gosh i am sleepy without my normal amount of coffee.

Oh good you got a new maker  now you gotta make a few pots to get the "new" taste out of it
