What a pain in the butt this was. Four hours of mostly sitting and waiting and this was a short wait I am told.. We get into a line up (pre check) of about 30 people .. an hour later we get to the front of the line.. Papers were filled out
correctly... Now we get a number A008 and are told we might as well go for
lunch or something because this will take at least two hours.. they were on number 46 at this time.. When they get to 100 they start over at zero.
Did talk to some interesting people when I went out to grab a smoke every so often... a street bum, a recruiting officer for the army..a young man with a beard that would put any billy goat to shame.. and it looked as bad as a billy goats beard in breeding season..and a number of other people..

Now we wait at least three weeks for the passports to be mailed reg. mail..

Try applying for a visa..I was asked if I am coming to the states for prostituation

Well Joyce I'll bet she was horrified.. wondering what kind of country she was trying to get into.. After all she was a very young lady then.

Now if anyone asks me when I come... at my age.. I'll say I'm going to
Clarksville looking for good looking nearly blind desperate young men.

How long is a passport good for, Adie? Do you have to go through all that again when this one expires ( if you ever GET this one ... )?

I believe the passport is good for five years. The last one was, and I used it
only once...
