Pictures, picturesFeeling a need for some pictures here!
It's really really cold and no fun to be outside this weekend.
How about some pictures from everyone?
I'll even try to take some pictures when I run out there to feed and bring warm water to my babies. The dogs are even inside!
Shiloh was all cuddly and snuggly this morning. Just wanted lots of hugs and kisses and followed me all around the pasture to get them.
Aslan and Moriah were busy figuring out which feeding station was the best and making sure they got all the good stuff this morning. They are like husband and wife sometimes - can't stand to be apart, but sometimes nagging one another! At least Moriah doesn't send Aslan into a panic any more. He finally learned how to tell her that enough was enough

Cold and windy here this morning... Babies don't mind at all.. When they aren't stuffing their little faces they are racing around their pasture.
Animated fuzz balls..Now that the pond is frozen and covered with a good
layer of snow some of the babies cheat and take the short cut across the
pond..while others still make the big loop around the outside..

Same here Adie. -19 here this morning and the horses acted like bucking horses LOL. Kicking and a snorting and runing around. They know how to have fun. I swear, sometimes i think they would much rather have it be this cold then 90 and humid. Balmy -11 now and most are stretched out in the sunshine.

OK - is that Fahrenheit or Celcius?

(Yes that is -19 fahrenheit. -32 with the wind chill LOL. Bet it is colder in Canada.)

It snowed yesterday morning, then it turned to rain, and it rained HARD. I couldn't turn the two young geldings out because of the icy patches. they are too foolish, and would hurt themselves, for sure.
I have been wanting to get some good shots as well, as I just bought a "new to me" camera, from a friend who just up-graded.
I just totally LOVE that first picture.

Well, I thank you for telling me that. It put my mind to rest about my horses in the cold last night. For some reason I was getting really concerned about them in the cold. Of course, they are fine.

We have enough snow here that my mini goats won't go outside unless i shovel a path for them! 
I hurt my leg real bad slipping out there, and I have been down for almost 2 weeks  now I have a lot of catching up to do so they want to get out there

Well there's no snow down here but it sure feels like there should be.
I must be getting used to the warmer climate because it feels really cold out there. BRRRRRRRRRRR

The southern relatives told me " It'll melt the fat off ya" That hasn't happened yet  Maybe you have to go out of the air con for that
