recommend driving books

I'm getting ready to order some books on driving, but would like some recommendations from those with experience or those without experience but with books!
What should I get first? What is the one you refer to most?
What do you like about each book?
Thanks for your help!!

Sorry staying out of this one... what I know ...I could stick in my eye and not even notice it... I have books but I don't know if they are good or bad..
Crocker's Critters

I'll stick my neck out...

My favorite is a great little book by Doris Ganton, I think it is called Breaking and Training the Harness Horse. It is a book for everyone...with great pictures/drawings that are easily understood.

Well, it's light outside now. (10 minutes later.) At least we can go out in the cool and feed without coming in drenched!
Have a good morning. Maybe I'll see you this afternoon. My Mom might come along to see the goaties. We won't go into any pasture or through any gates. Just look over the fence if Kodi lets us!

Yes it's light out now. No scary stuff out there so I'll go feed and then get ready. It takes me along time to get ready to go.
I left you a present out in your hay! Don't lose it in it LOL

I have the one by Doris Ganton and it is wonderfully done. Well written and very helpful.

Crocker's Critters

Adie...they are both the same book, I beleive...must be different years of publication. Definately worth the $$, for sure.

I can't think of the Carriage Driving one's proper name either, C., but I think I know it. I also have several small "Threshold Picture Guides", that are very helpful as learning tools, and a "Hints on Driving" by Capt. C. Morley Knight.

The Doris Ganton book mentioned above is what helped me.
