Good to hear it's going good for you, but I bet you will be sad when you see them driving down your driveway, it's so easy to get attached.

What breed are your goaties anyway? I'm only guessing at mine, they are not purebred, we got them out of the paper, they are just family pets.
Judging by your kids, the parents must be real beauties too. Can't wait to hear.

Yes, I am already sad to see them go. I will enjoy the time I have with them so much. The good part is this is a well known farm that bought them so I will keep in touch and see my babies grow and see those babies they have etc. It's only about an hour away.
My goats are all Nigerian Dwarfs except little Chloe. She is pygmy crossed with dwarf. My two original girls Molly & Mini I call them M&M's were just pets when I purchased them. They are from some old bloodlines and look more like the original Nigerian Dwarfs. They now breed them for a more refined dairy goat look that I'm not really crazy about. I am hoping maybe the old look will come back and be in demand. I think that's happened with horses, and now to get some of the older style is hard to find and really expensive. The new buck I bought this summer he has some really great bloodlines & these new babies from him seem to have his qualities. In November I will breed him with my little Apricot and see what I get for next spring. They both have some of the top bloodlines in them. They will be able to be registered with all 4 registries. Right now these babies can only be double registered. Next ones can be 4 I'm just learning about these, supposed to be a big deal. So far to me it's just a big pain.
