Speaking of riding horses....Must not be much longer 'till you bring your new guy home, eh Betty? You must be excited....I bet the countdown has already started.

We had planned on bringing him home this last saturday but a big snow storm kept the farrier from getting there. He still has his racing shoes on and they need to be pulled before he can come home. He wouldn't make it to our barn with them on! And a big storm going on right now again looks to be about 6 inches on the ground and they are closing all the schools in the area again. Hope he makes it sometime this week so we can get him here inbetween the snow storms. Friday looks to have some decent traveling weather so cross your fingers and hope for the best for that day.
We are very excited to get him. Bought a new bridle, new bit, new winter blanket, new ball to play with and a new feed pan for him, oh yes can't forget the new cinch.
Also since he didn't know his name of Jerry we have changed it to Chip, that was my hubbys choice.
