all the snow even in Los Vegas, Nevada. What weird weather every where!

Crazy huh?

My son lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and i was talking to him yesterday as he was driving 4 mph down the interstate. It is desert there and they got 4 1/2 inches of snow. Schools and business were closed. He drives city bus and said he was amazed at how the people there could not drive in snow.

Even our area. We have not had this much snow stay since 2000. Brrrr it is cold for what we are used to this time of the year. -15 with -40 wind chill. I am not liking that but gosh the horses seem fine with it. They were bucking and running around this morning waiting for their hay. Inside horses really had it nice.

All my horses only have run in shelters and lots of straw for bedding. And we make sure they all have lots of hay and feed. The mini donkeys would more then likely like to live in a barn but they have a run in up close to the our shop. It is -37.4c with the windchill in the afternoon up here. It is staying to darn cold too long but as you say the horses are running around in the sun at least.

The weather here today Sat. was very warm compared to the days we have had. We have quit abit of snow but we could use more but not the extremely cold weather that we do not need.

Another week off of work, I really could get used to this come on lottery pick my lucky numbers

Yea it's warmed up lots here too. been close to the 0 mark since last night.
