What to do with maneShadow has a nasty habit of sticking her head through the panel to try and reach the bale. She has successfully rubbed off a good strip of the middle of her mane. Would you make a really long halter path or give her the mohawk thing & wait for it to grow out OR just leave it till it gets long enough then trim it all short??
It is growing out but at the mohawk stage now she looks ridiculus(sp) though cause her mane is real long on either side

I'd go the long bridle path. Will look good that way. Shows her neck and
chest.

Gee, I hate to see you lose all of that beautiful long mane up front. I vote for leaving it alone. You're not going to show her, are you? That mane is going to grow out really fast with the hot Summer weather. But that's just my vote.

I would get some styling gel and braid the shorter hair into the longer hair and do it so that the "gap" doesn`t show so bad....
