Remember I sold my little buck Billy several months ago after he attacked me the one time. The guy called me on Easter. I sold him for only $75, he's double registered and blue eyes and they can go for as much as $300. At the time when he came to look, I let the guy spend over an hour with Billy alone. I told him if it didn't work out let me know, and would refund his $75  I said this because I didn't want Billy to be mistreated or passed around if he was a problem. The guy called me three weeks later to return him, I agreed, but then changed his mind. Said he'd try it for a couple more weeks. Now THREE MONTHS later he wants to bring him back and get his money back. I asked him if Billy did anything wrong and he said no, he's been  fine. That he stinks and all his does are bred.    DUH? This is a buck that's what they do. I told him I don't have room for Billy now, it's been too long and he's bred about 15 of his does.
He said well he just wanted to get back what he has into him?? I told him $75 is now considered a stud service fee. Billy serviced all the does and he wants the $75 back?  Maybe I'm missing something.
He did say that he would just take Billy to the auction. My heart hurts only because I worry what kind of life Billy may have, but I'm trying to separate myself from that kind of thinking. Hubby says well Billy should not have attacked the mom who bottle fed him.   Next time I will put a time limit on how long they have to bring him back. Nothing in writing

Yeah, it sounds like you need to set a time limit or offer to take him back but no refund.
That's really a hard situation.
the guy says he stinks?  Well, of course he does, he's a buck!!
He sounds goofy to me.

If you take him back stop by the vets office and have his cords crushed.
By the time he gets over being a bit sore he will have lost his urge to
be mean.. Then he will make someone a nice pet..

I got a call from a farm in Alabama. She said she heard about Billy for sale through a friend in TN and bought him from the idiot I sold him too.
She called me and asked since the guy never transferred the registration papers in his name could she use the same papers she got with him. I told yes and I would send papers for the other registry he is with also.
Also let her know that he throws long haired kids and could be registered for the Mini Silkies as I just did with my Smokey. Not sure if I posted it on  here or not?? My Smokey, Billy's son just turned a year old and has a really long coat, long facial hair on cheeks etc. So I sent pics to the
Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association MSGGA ? I think that's it.
They didn't even question me, they registered him as a Mini Silky so his value went from $150 - $200 ish to $500 or more. He didn't cost me anything since my Molly girl had him last year. Don't know what I'm doing but stumbling through it and it's working
