How is the snow situation? Still snowing or are you digging yourselves out now?

Sun is shining and the snow has stop and wind is calmer. Wind kept me awake during the night howling like it was. Digging out today. Got more coming Thursday! Some areas got 23 inches of snow. That is Wow a lot for around here in 1 snow fall.
This time of year the sun will settle that snow quickly too. I have had enough now. Plows have been busy and schools were 2 hours late but they are open today.
+18 today with a wind chill of +4 but really it doesn't feel that bad. Made this gal puff a bit walking through all that hard crust snow doing chores. Let the taller horses break the paths for the mares carrying foals. Some bellies were dragging :-) _________________ Visit Bear Valley Miniature Horse Farm

Glad the worst is over for you and hope you get bypassed on Thursday.
Thoughs belly tracks must be really cute. Hope your hubby gets you plowed soon. I know that walking in the deep stuff is not as much fun as it once was. |

I went to college in Virginia, and one morning it snowed about one inch. Everybody from the South freaked! They didn't have any snowplows, so the road graders came up to the campus and "plowed us out". lol It was so funny. I was out rolling around in the snow, and the Southern girls thought I was nuts. :-) _________________ Character is doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching. |

Sher my son lived in Virginia for 6 years and he loved it when it snowed as he could show everyone how a boy from Minnesota could handle a couple inches of snow :-) Now after 11 years away from the north he has turned into a southern type fella when it comes to cold though. He got spoiled with Virginia, Georgia, Ala., and TN weather i guess. Wants to eventually make Virginia his home when he is done with his military stint. His wife is from there too. _________________ Visit Bear Valley Miniature Horse Farm
