About two months ago we purchased two mini goats.  We were told that Nana was pregnant and expected to deliver at any time. We have been keeping a close eye on her.  The other goat ( Jenny)  we got we were told was not gonna give birth till the spring.  She didn't look pregnant at all, her milk wasn't really comming in at all. Nana has looked like she is ready to burst ever since we brought her home....lol, and her milk has come in nice.
This morning at 5:30 I woke up to a funny squeaking noise,  it was comming form outside. I herd the goats making a bit of noise.....it was then that I started to panic...knowing that it was -6 outside. I quickly got dressed and ran out with the flashlight to check ....and to my surprize there was big round Nana standing there looking at me wondering where the food was.  I herd that sound again ....I looked over and there was Jenny with her brand new little twins!  She had shown no signs of labour at all!
So quickly ran into the house and startled my two little boys awake and we brought all the towels and what not out there to help on this cold morning.... it was a group effort..lol.
we had those little goaties dry in no time!
We had two little girls..one is pure black,  and the other one is white with a brown head and black tips to her hooves.
When I was younger we raised milking goats....but the cry of the minis is so much smaller!  It was so cute!
We were soooo excited! but noe we are still waiting for Nana.....I hope she chooses a warmer night to have her babies...lol.

I took pics and I wiil try to post them soon!.....yea.

What a surprise that was for you. Glad it turned out good and i bet it was sort of fun drying off those new babies and the kids helping too. Can't wait to see some pictures.
