....... life comes at you to fast and you have to give your Mini back to the original owner?  Do you still get to belong to this Family and the Board if you aren't  owned by a Mini anymore?

Well, here's the story.  Dad's emphysema is starting to make him pretty sick.  We're heading down there in May for our annual visit.  After that, I have to be ready and able to fly down there anytime in the future that he gets really bad.  Gary physically can't tkae care of Lady's chores while I'm gone, which could be for extended periods of time or frequently, as the case may be.  So the logical thing to do is to give Lady back to her original "daddy", Ron.  I know he's going to want to breed her, as she's his mother's mare, and she just passed away a few months ago.  He wanted to breed her when we took posessioin of her and I wouldn't do it.  So now that he's getting her back, I'm sure he'll do it to procreate her linie.  That'll tie her up for the next two years at least, so we may get her back and we may not.  If we should move to Texas, I wouldn't take her with us, anyway, so this is where we stand as of right now.  Everything's up in the air.  At least she'll be close-by so I can go visit her when I want to.

It's a hard thing , but at least you know the man enough to know that she'll be taken good care of.
And the nice thing is that you'll be able to go visit her when ever you want.

Sher you are right. Life can kick you when you least expect it. You know you are fortunate in a way because you actually got to have your dream of having Lady for a while and you had some great times    And you know her previous owner will take good care of her too so you don't need to go out and find a new owner for her.

It will be a load off your mind to know you can go to your Dad when he needs you the most without worrying about Lady and Gary trying to take care of her.

Ahhh you know everything i wrote already.....i just want you to know that you are in my thoughts.

I love you guys!  You really are my Family!  Thanks!  Lady's going to be with her old herd instead of being alone up in back ( which she doesn't mind being, by the way......).  They'll all be glad to see her again.  Ron has a gelding, a stud, and three other mares in his herd.     I'm just glad I can still hang out here and keep up with you guys!   :o)

Awww, Sher - of course you are now always a part of the group!!!

And I think it's wonderful that Lady can go back to a good place and you can still see her when you want.  And she might even like being a Mommy again.  Who knows - maybe life will turn around and you'll get her back.  Or maybe you'll get her baby!!

Thanks for the hug, Patty!  I was thinking that maybe I could lease Lady back after a while.  She'd still belong to Ron, but she could live over here again, too!  We'll see what the future brings!  You guys are my rock, and I get such strength from you all.  I am truly Blessed!

Sorry Sher about your father being so sick. If I was closer I would take Lady for you but she'll get good care at her old owners place I'm sure. Take care and good luck and bless you.
