Anyone know when it's ok to transplant buttercups ( AKA Daffodil's)??
They are in bloom right now so I would think I have to wait until they are done?

Sorry no green thumb here.. if its not an animal I can kill it by looking at it,
except weeds, tree shoots and lawn grass.. _________________ I used to have a handle on life, but it broke .

I'd wait till they are done, otherwise they will wilt.
We should be getting our here soon, I can't wait, they are so cheery. |

Really? While they are blooming? OK I Really need to move my herbs too, it's going to be a construction zone and they will be destroyed otherwise or maybe they will be anyway Thank Patty!! _________________ TooMiniAcres |

About 6 years ago I found one blooming in a nearby ditch, so I dug the little goomer up and brought it home. I dug a lot of dirt up with it, then buried it deep in my flowerbed. It did great. But if you want to be sure, go ahead and wait 'til it's finished and the head's all dried-up and ready to fall off. _________________ Character is doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching. |

I think it does make a difference if I include as much dirt with it as possible, if I remember right. Should I rent a front end loader LOL just take the yard with it
Thanks Sher Today all I did was shovel out yuck from the barn _________________ TooMiniAcres |

That yuck from the barn would probably be good for it! ( the Daffy, I mean ..........) _________________ Character is doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching. |

That's true didn't even think about that. I was just going to burn it.
Wonder if it will still be good for the flowers after I burn it? I'm afraid if I use it as is I'll draw cow flies up by my house then? What do you think? _________________ TooMiniAcres |
