Choosing their own home I guess!
Today was funny with our chickens - had never seen snow before. I opened the hatch and out came one big rooster. As soon as his feet hit the snow he did this funny little jumpy dance and ran back in the chicken house! It was hilarious. Of course, he was back out and fine again, but the first reaction was priceless. Wish I'd had a video camera. |

Good luck with that. If you manage that...tell me how you did it. I have a barn full of cats who insist on pooping up in the hayloft, even though they have their own stall downstairs. _________________ Striving to make horses BETTER...not BIGGER!! |

Most of mine do that. So easy to clean the stalls, and outside they have their favorite poopie-places too. Then again, I have paddocks, not large pastures...although I do plan to go electric this summer, and they will have the big fields. There they can poop to thier lil hearts content...alllll over.
