Ok, I'm not exactly in the know about all the goings on lately, but I see that things have been removed from the forum.  That's sad.
Is anyone still here?  Hope so.
I will miss you all if you are all gone.  Hope not.
Hey, Joyce -send me an email, ok?

Well, for this year I plan to do two main things - move ahead with training the minis after the mud goes away.  I have not been working with them much in the last year - just loving and giving treats mostly.  They can't understand why I pay so much attention to that big horse!

The reason I've been focusing on Aslan is that we may be performing at the Parelli Celebration in Franklin TN at the end of Jan!!!  I'm so excited I can't stand it.  I'm going to use music that I performed and recorded so it will be lots of fun.  After that is over I also have to prepare for a clinic where Aslan and I will be riding in May with our favorite Parelli instructor, Carol Coppinger.  And after that it will be the mini's turn and Aslan can graze in peace.

How about you all - are you hatching plans during this yucky winter weather?

Well, sounds like you will be busy!!

I have two minis coming in for harness training this spring, and am thinking of geting my own four year old filly going finally.  Twister, my five year old needs lots of work yet, as he was just started last year. I am seriously considering driving his dam again this year as well.  She hasn't been driven in several years, and can be a hot lil tamale, so was always tons of fun to drive, and show.

One thing about it, I will be spoiled for driving horses this year.  I would have another to drive, but I lent her out for the year to a friend of mine last year, and have done the same for another friend for this year.  She is such an extraordinary driving teacher, my little Whisper.

Awh, that sounds so exciting you two!! All I can do is get locked in the barn by my horses.   They have talent to do that LOL
We're going to build a new barn soon I hope. Didn't want to do it in the summer because it was too hot. Now it's too cold & wet

I want to get more fencing up too.  We just have the riding ring, and a half acre paddock for turnout, but have more land to fence when we get around to it.

I'm still around but haven't checked in here just lately.  Still have my 9 miniatures, my hubby of 49 years and our little doxie, Heidi.
I will have to do some reading and catch up with everyone.

Well, it is nice to hear from you again.

As far as fencing goes, I have gone as far as buying the electric fencer...now I need a bunch of posts and fencing tape.
